Investment Development

  • AWEI ID&M services focuses on the development of green energy offsets. The federal government 2008 mandated carbon audit has placed a dollar value on the annual carbon footprint of every business and service in every sector of the Australian economy. This carbon footprint is subject to a carbon tax currently under consideration by federal parliament and known as the emissions trading system (ETS). Even if we consider a mandated tax of $10 per ton in the first year of operation, it is clear that some businesses are better of investing this money into clean energy generation.
  • Invest in green energy by contributing to the " Plant a Wind Mill fund". Instead of planting trees to absorb the pollution we have created why not plant a windmill and not created the pollution in the first place.
  • Farm energy - The farm energy project is a collaborative project with Australian farmers. The project aims to utilize low productive land for the location of wind energy production. Ideally the land should be located near existing electricity lines and in good quality wind corridors for eligibility.
  • Offshore wind - Australia has thousands of kilometers of coast line. Wind turbines are best situated in areas of consistent wind. Coastal areas are known for these conditions. With little or no environmental impact, and the ability to situate hundreds of megawatt generating capacities close to Australia's major cities, offshore wind production in Australia is a no brain solution to solve Australia's carbon emission problem.
