AWEI Associations

Associations have the capacity to be the organizations that not only facilitate Standards ( e.g. Professional Development for Personnel ) but also promote Green Energy Purchasing. In regulation trading terms this would be to establish a subsidiary Co-operative or promote other co-ops such as.

• Energy Cooperative of New York

Education

The Co-op Bookshop has 800,000 Student members.

 

Advisory Services

• To act as an advisory service to industry with regard to education and training policy, legislation and training standards.
• To work with industry and government education leaders to establish and maintain a world leading wind energy training and cooperative research base.

 

Employment Placement Services and Traineeships

• To establish traineeships and apprenticeships schemes in conjunctions with industry, education and government
• To place future employees with long term jobs in the wind energy industry.
